Join us for the Gainesville Chicken Festival, the Official Chicken Cook-Off for the State of Georgia, on November 6! The city of Gainesville holds this annual chicken cook-off and awards the Chicken City Cup to the best chicken in town! Proceeds benefit the Gainesville Chicken Scholarship and the You’re the Reason Scholarship, administered by North Georgia community Foundation. The Chicken Festival is free to all and you can purchase $6 wrist bands for 10 samples of chicken. Come celebrate Gainesville’s status as the Poultry Capital of the World!
